As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Structures, this dynamic role will see you plan and execute scheduled, unscheduled and deferred defect maintenance requirements as directed by crew leaders and AME in alignment with approved Aircraft Maintenance Documentation (AMD). You will also have accountability for:
Raising technical issues and presenting solutions Continuously utilising audit tools Reporting and following up on major defects and publication deficiencies in accordance with technical instructions ERP systems, risk assessment and incident reporting as required. Propose capability improvements Material sourcing Assisting the Base Maintenance Manager and Responsible Manager to ensure that all associated tasks and responsibilities comply and conform to relevant regulatory and quality requirements and company policies and standards. Ensuring that all activities undertaken fall within organisational policies and procedures and comply with all published corporate stand Working with due care and consideration to safeguard own health and security, and the health and security of others. Reporting all incidents, hazards and near misses whilst adhering to safe work practices and policies. Complying with NGA's policies and procedures. As the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Structures, you will have an eye for detail and have a strong work ethic. You will also have:
The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at Baseline Cert IV Aviation Trade (Mech/AV) Cert III Aviation Trade (Specialist Trades) Previous experience in Base Maintenance (BM) Demonstrated competency of aircraft systems, AMD and local work instructions Thorough knowledge of the structure and use of interactive technical publications Knowledge / experience in DASA regulatory environment Demonstrated understanding of external technical / maintenance support networks Fantastic communication and analytical skill set. The ability to work independently and work within a team.
