Close interaction and collaboration with the analog and digital design engineers Provide CAD tool support and methodology training to design team Enable and improve design and verification flows Support tapeout milestones and IP macro releases Champion and implement best practices and task automation Writing scripts to support CAD capabilities Bachelor's degree in a technical area (BSEE or other Engineering discipline preferred) with 5 years of relevant experience (3 years with a MS, 0 years with a PhD) Solid knowledge of the Cadence design tools, particularly the Virtuoso Schematic, Layout, and ADE (Spectre preferred) environment Experience generating and developing scripts to provide capabilities within a CAD environment (SKILL, Ocean, Python, PERL, Linux/unix shell, etc.) US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance Experience interfacing with engineers and managers, in addition to vendor application engineers Solid interpersonal and team skills for cross-functional collaboration, high attention to detail, ability to self-check work outputs and ability to lead technical tasks Calibre physical verification tools (DRC, LVS, PERC, etc.) Layout parasitic extraction tools (Cadence Quantus, etc.) Experience with revision control software (Keysight [formerly Cliosoft] SOS) Experience with Cadence Innovus a plus Strong analysis, design and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
