Direct management, oversight, and career development of a team of Contract Administrators. Identifying, developing, and recommending risk mitigation strategies. Developing solutions to complex management, contracts, pricing, and property concerns. Advising management of contractual rights and obligations, including reviewing and approving contractual documents Achieving targeted profit rates and favorable terms and conditions to assist in meeting profit and cash goals. Providing direction based upon the contract requirements and change management discipline Other duties as assigned Bachelor's Degree and 5 years' experience working in Contracts Administration - OR - Master's degree with 3 years' experience. Will consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree. Contracts Administration experience and working knowledge of the FAR, DFARS or government acquisition regulations Background in DoD contracting, prior experience with the USG and/or major defense contractor customers Experience negotiating and administering different contract types of varying sizes, and supplemental agreements Experience with MS Office, including MS Excel Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance MBA or JD Active U.S. Government DoD Secret or Top-Secret security clearance, current and within scope Experience training and mentoring staff 1+ year(s) of people leadership or supervisory experience Ability to work collaboratively and effectively Strong leadership experience Strategic thinker Strong interpersonal and communication skills
