Working as part of a team to design, build and maintain a defense cyber security systems Administering systems based on Linux and Windows operating system Responsible for defining protection plans, developing requirements, system integration and test. Development and verification of system engineering requirements and technology protection capabilities. Serve as a principal liaison between our team and the customer, providing expert technical guidance and support for cyber systems on the defense program. Work on projects applying agile methodologies to enhance cybersecurity capabilities for embedded systems. Support risk assessments and ensure compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative cloud-based solutions, maintaining strong cybersecurity protocols. Prepare and deliver technical documentation, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and customers. An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required U.S. citizenship is required Eligibility for SCI clearance. DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+, etc.). Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical fields; with 2 years of experience working within IT Systems deployment and Administration. 6 year of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex, cross‑domain issues. Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Experience working in an Agile or DevOps environment. Proven experience in applying agile methodologies to the development of cybersecurity capabilities for embedded systems. Knowledge of Cross Domain Solution (CDS) concepts and implementation. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles within cloud and on-prem environments. Familiarity with risk management frameworks, cybersecurity policy standards, and requirements development.
