Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for E-2D Avionics Technician (AT) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our JASDF CTS organization. This position is located in Misawa, Japan. ## Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) ## Must have a minimum of five (5) years of documented related work experience with E-2D Avionics systems. ## Experience as a CDI and the ability to support operations IAW COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2. ## Must have an active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) ## This position requires deployment to OCONUS location. ## This position will be a long-term expatriate opportunity; expat incentives will be determined based on the length of time on assignment. ## For eye exams:
Ability to successfully pass vision screen and color blindness tests ## For new-hire physical: ## Working knowledge of tool control and quality control/ management processes. * ## Navy “A” and “C” schools or service equivalent schools. ## Accredited Vocational Education Institutions Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)/Factory Technical training programs related to the system(s)/equipment being supported. ## Familiarity with E-2D IMRL gear I.E. CTS, PLS and software loading procedures ## Good verbal and written communication skills required for interaction with the customer and project management ## Familiarity with Microsoft Office productivity software Primary Level Salary Range: $71,900.00 - $119,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
