The successful candidate will work under general instruction in the Digital Design and Integration group supporting modeling, drafting, and engineering. The successful candidate will have responsibility for modeling and drafting of mechanical components, electrical harnesses, assemblies and design support in the aerospace industry. Create 3D geometric models Annotate PMI models, and/or create drawings using Siemens NX design tool Create and maintain part, assembly and electrical harness models per NG and program modeling procedures Investigate design solutions Provide drawings for next generation rocket motor design Assist in the definition, development, and qualification of design changes Apply acquired jobs skills and knowledge to achieve targets - technical, cost, and schedule 2 years of CAD related experience (Siemens NX preferred) BS in Mechanical Engineer Degree OR Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Detail oriented but able to understand the big picture Experience with Siemens NX with PMI in Teamcenter Unified Architecture Experience in Engineering Design, Drafting, Manufacturing or Quality 5 years of CAD related experience (Siemens NX preferred) BS in Mechanical Engineer Degree OR Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technical expertise with CAD modeling, Siemens NX preferred Experience working in a team setting Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Detail oriented but able to understand the big picture Experience with Siemens NX with PMI in Teamcenter Unified Architecture Experience in Engineering Design, Drafting, Manufacturing or Quality
