General frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks Understands NG test engineering practices and principles Understands both electrical circuits and software within the flight hardware and EGSE Supports EGSE and flight hardware test/troubleshooting efforts and ability to perform this tasking with little to no oversight from another Electrical Engineer Able to work independently to complete tasks and knows when to ask for help. Fully grasps escalation plan when test errors are encountered and understands when to proceed per NG/program process. Participates in anomaly resolution process while offering technical solutions for FRB approval. Travel and support different shifts when required Works under general supervision Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned Follows established procedures Has technical insight and experience to know if test set-up and results make sense Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects Ability to establish and maintain infrequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters. Coordinates with ITEE team lead, electrical technicians, and I&T managers to complete tasking. May participate, prepare, and present material in program review boards (PDRs, CDRs, TRRs, FRBs, etc). Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 3 years of professional experience - OR - PhD with 1 year of professional experience. Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 6 years of professional experience - OR - PhD with 4 years of professional experience. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance, SCI access, and special program access Demonstrate ability to listen effectively, take direction, and possess initiative to accomplish assigned tasks and complete work in a timely fashion Demonstrate ability to learn and integrate new programming languages based off previous experience Active DoD TS/SCI or higher security clearance with investigation in the last five (5) years Experience with any of the following Microsoft Visio, National Instruments LabView Experience with hardware or software testing and test scripting Experience in Electronics troubleshooting, RF test configuration testing, Environments testing (Vibration Analysis/Thermal Vacuum chamber testing) Experience in Automated Test Equipment usage and troubleshooting Programming experience with any of the following languages:
Python, C, C++ Experience in Aerospace or Defense industry (development or test)
