Use in-house developed software to analyze and predict pressure, thrust and other performance variables for propulsion designs Provide technical assessments of results and provide recommendations and justifications for design modifications Report analysis results in written and oral formats Perform anomaly evaluation and conduct special studies Provide innovative solutions to solve technically complex and challenging problems Interface with internal/external customers and with support personnel in design and testing Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a team Attention to detail and ability to multi-task Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively BS in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering 2 years of related work experience or a MS in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite. BS in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering 5 years of related work experience or 3 years with a MS in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite. Skills related to statics, dynamics, fluids, thermodynamics, rocket propulsion, computer skills/programming (MATLAB, FORTRAN, Solid Modeling, Excel) are all desirable.
