Develops assembly instructions for product for first-time-builds. Supports program meetings in developing root cause and corrective actions. Collaborates with Manufacturing Engineering to develop and implement new processes and process improvements. Assists engineering in creating designs and/or developing products and processes; Documents drawing errors and suggests improvements. Develops and constructs experimental and prototype devices, models and systems working from very general information. Designs, develops, and assembles manufacturing aids such as holding fixtures, jigs, dies, harness boards, etc. High school graduate or recognized equivalent (GED) and 4+ years of manufacturing experience Experience using MS Office tools Experience as a Manufacturing operator or technician Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance US citizenship is required. Experience with Power Control Systems and Hardware Experience working on Naval systems Experience training and/or mentoring other personnel Tooling development and fabrication experience Hands-on assembly and fabrication experience Assembly procedure development experience Experience with general 3D CAD software
