Provide direction and guidance to employees utilizing management guidelines and general policies Meeting fab throughput and productivity metrics, product delivery schedules, fab yields, and overall fab quality Identify and drive continuous improvement efforts, 5S activities, lean manufacturing principles Involved in staffing decisions, training, and driving engagement efforts to achieve the employee's highest potential Provide ATL leadership with progress reports and presentations Work independently across the organization to meet fab needs and goals Maintain a safe work environment Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience; Master's Degree with 3 years of professional experience; PhD with 0+ years of professional experience (Note: 9+ years of work experience may be considered in lieu of degree) Understanding of basic manufacturing and production concepts Excellent written and oral communication skills 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment Experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry Technical knowledge and understanding of semiconductor processes and toolsets Supervision or people management experience is preferred Experience in the microelectronics industry Working knowledge of industry and management methodologies focused on continuous improvement in manufacturing, such as SPC, 5S, Total Quality Management or Six Sigma Experienced in ISO 9001 or AS9100 audits and requirements, knowledgeable of Industrial Hazardous Waste Management procedures Prior experience working in a represented (union) environment
