Monitoring system and subsystem operation and performance and preparing periodic status reports Performing system performance improvement tasks involving scripting and standard operating procedure modifications Investigating and responding to all indications of anomalous system performance Assisting in the preparation and review of standard operations procedures and system redundancy management documentation Supporting system reconfiguration and mode changes Supporting special system operations of a non-routine nature Monitoring several systems and implementing procedures required in response to anomalous behavior Monitoring equipment health and status to ensure the highest possible level of mission readiness Continuous core skill improvement training Follow-on advanced training The engineer will be expected to work a non-traditional work week that will include occasional 12 hour shifts and weekends Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with relevant technical/engineering experience OR Masters of Science Degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with relevant technical/engineering experience.
