High school diploma or equivalent education Minimum 4 years of experience working in a machine shop Must have the ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, GD & T, and other engineering specifications Must have working knowledge of shop floor mathematics and measuring tools/equipment Ability to set-up and operate a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders Must be able to use basic hand tool and precision measuring instruments Ability to lift up to 50lbs Candidate must have a willingness to learn and possess a positive team working attitude Excellent communication, problem solving and troubleshooting skills Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work safely and concern for the safety of others Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance which requires US Citizenship as a pre-requisite Associates Degree Ability to program and set-up Mazak lathes, mills, and integrex machines Experience with Proto-Trak lathes and mills Experience with EDM equipment both wire and sinker Proficient in the use of hand measuring tools Proficient with hand grinders (grinding and polishing - surface prep) Assembly work Explosive training
