Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities and equipment Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, and equipment Uses hand and power tools Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications Install, maintain and repair pipes, drains, guttering, mechanical services and related equipment for water supply, gas, drainage, sewerage, heating, cooling and ventilation systems, and other duties as assigned High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of maintenance experience working in the manufacturing industry, and/or construction environment Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance Must have experience working in plumbing. Must have the ability to support 2nd Shift. Experience using Maximo Data Base for work tickets and job assignments Experience in Aerospace/Defense Industry Strong computer, math, analytical, and planning skills
