The Maintenance Technician Level 3 or 4 is responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. The selected Maintenance Technician will perform repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment. Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding. Perform mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting on all equipment Perform routine mechanical / electrical / electronic preventative maintenance on plant equipment, including our CNC and automated machines, Boilers, Autoclaves, HVAC systems, General lighting, Air compressors, Hydraulic systems, Overhead Cranes etc. Job activities align with that of a typical Millwright position Other duties to support Maintenance Team as assigned Shift as follows:
Dayshift 2/3/2 rotating 12-hour shift Hours: 6:00 AM-6:30 PM High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry as an Electrical / Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright Ability to obtain and maintain DOD Secret Security Clearance Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry as an Electrical / Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright Ability to obtain and maintain DOD Secret Security Clearance Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access Licensed Journeyman or Master tradesman (plumber, pipefitter, millwright, etc.) Electrician:
Must be proficient and knowledgeable in 3 phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, wiring and troubleshooting of such systems Certifications or demonstrated competency repairing complex electro-mechanical systems Certifications or demonstrated competency repairing automated motion control systems Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts. Working knowledge of HVAC maintenance
