Direct management, oversight, and career development of a team of Contract Administrators. Fostering and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers. Interfacing with management regarding contractual matters. Identifying, developing, and recommending risk mitigation strategies. Developing solutions to complex management, contracts, pricing, and property concerns. Advising management of contractual rights and obligations. Providing adequate resourcing and oversight to ensure execution of organizational goals and financial objectives. Ensuring compliance with company policies and requirements. Ensuring proper administration and management of all aspects of the contract lifecycle, including shaping of acquisitions, proposal development, negotiations, administration of standard and nonstandard contracts, and closeout of contracts. Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years or Master's Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in contract administration/management or related field. Knowledge of Contracts Administration in a FAR/DFARS environment. Background in DoD contracting with prior experience with the USG and/or major defense contractor customers. Experience negotiating and administering various contract types of varying sizes and types of agreements with the DoD. Experience with proposal development. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management. Experience using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance. Active U.S Government Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance. Knowledge of and ability to use SAP. Experience negotiating Other Transaction Authorities (OTAs) and/or other complex contracts. Proven ability to attract new talent and mentor and train assigned staff. Demonstrated leadership or supervisory/mentorship experience.
