Responsible for the direct supervision/management of approximately 18 hourly employees to meet contract delivery requirements. Responsible for providing direction to subordinates utilizing management guidelines & general policies Work with program managers to plan and level load program hours; addressing cost, material and production order release schedules. Provide direction to subordinates based on general policies and management guidance. Ensure compliance with Company Policies, Procedures and Shop Paper Handbook. Apply the Union and Company agreement to ensure compliance with the Company Policies and Procedures. Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant manufacturing experience; OR a Master's degree 6 or more years of relevant manufacturing experience; OR a PhD and 4 or more years of relevant manufacturing experience (4 additional years of relevant manufacturing experience may be considered in lieu of degree). Minimum of 5 years of related experience in production control and material handling. Supervisory and/or leadership experience.
