Responsible for overseeing the safety of laboratory facilities including maintaining current knowledge of relevant protocols, regulations, standards, and safety procedures as well as developing and maintaining standard operating. Executes laboratory activities such as sampling, analysis, and various reports. Provides clear assignments, helps employees connect their efforts to the bigger picture, creates an inclusive work environment characterized by mutual respect and the valuing of differences, and builds a culture that motivates employees to their highest levels of performance. Establish and manage key metrics to ensure process performance. Ensures policies, procedures, and processes are in place to assure the performance and quality of products with conformance to established standards, specifications, and customer requirements. Support Return to Green, Failure Analysis, and Corrective Action activities with focus on full resolution and future risk mitigation. Experience panoramic views from Turkey Point Lighthouse on a bluff overlooking the Bay, or from the banks of the C&D Canal where ships from around the globe cruise. Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or similar STEM discipline and 8 years related experience, or Master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or similar STEM discipline and 6 years related experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a United States DOD Secret Security Clearance Ability to obtain and maintain ATF Employee Possessor 5+ years of analytical laboratory experience LIMS & SAP experience Direct experience working and collaborating across multiple functions Demonstrated experience developing, growing teams and shaping a performing culture Strong strategic and analytical skills Ability to operate and lead in team environments MS degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or STEM with 10+ years' experience AS9100 Experience Strong leadership, strategic thinking, change management, and analytical skills. Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt Supplier Quality Experience Active secret clearance
