BS in Mechanical Engineering required 2-4 years of direct Mechanical Engineering Experience, 0 years of experience with a Master's Degree. Strong analytical skills and the ability organize/prioritize job assignments and tasks. Working knowledge of mechanical computer aided design (CAD) software, preferably CREO (PTC). Working knowledge of ANSI Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Working knowledge of manufacturing processes to include, but not limited to, machining, gauging, welding, and injection molding. Material selection experience of both metals and plastics. Must be a US Citizen and able to travel up to 10% of the time. Able to acquire a Secret Level Security clearance Experience developing electronics packaging solutions for challenging environmental condition: shock, temperature, electromagnetic and others. Electromechanical mechanism or electro-explosive device design and analysis experience. Possess an understanding of finite element analysis techniques and tools.
