Contribute to system requirements development, management, analysis, and traceability, to translate customer requirements and CONOPS into systems requirements, and further allocate to lower-level requirements. Perform functional analysis and systems trade studies for technical solutions with respect to concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, and maintenance. Generate well-defined and executable system and subsystem requirements documents, interface documents, and test and verification documents. Develop system architecture & design and test architecture on complex weapon systems in digital environment to mature the technologies of the systems. Support development of technical volume and cost volume for proposal; use historical actuals to develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs). Coordinate system/subsystems integration, test, and requirements verification activities with other functions such as software and hardware. Help develop systems engineering metrics and technical performance measurement tracking. Coordinate the preparation of system engineering materials during System Requirements Review, System Functional Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, System Verification Review, Test Readiness Review, and other program reviews as needed. Interface with inter-organizational management and external Customer to communicate technical briefing and program status. Support Program Management activities to ensure cost and schedule objectives are met; support program status efforts including Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tracking and Control Account Management (CAM) activities. Support the management of critical subcontractors developing and testing tactical missile technologies and delivery of quality products. Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline and a minimum of twelve (12) years of systems engineering experience with any exposure to requirements development and verification activities; will consider Master of Science in an Engineering discipline and a minimum of ten (10) years of systems engineering experience with any exposure to requirements development and verification activities. Experience in hardware engineering, software engineering, and/or test engineering. Experience in systems engineering tools, such as DOORS, CAMEO. Experience in technical writing, such as planning document, test procedure, test/analysis report. Experience in configuration management and product lifecycle management tool(s). Strong verbal and written skills to communicate with peers in a methodical, detailed and process-oriented fashion. Previous experience in providing solutions to a variety of technical problems under general supervision. Current US Government Secret security clearance, adjudicated within the past 5 years Experience in multiple missile technologies (e.g., sensors, navigation aids, guidance electronics, controls, propulsion, structures, platforms). Have technical knowledge in one or more military mission areas (e.g., Air, Land, Sea, Space, Cyber) Experience in assessing legacy system architecture and innovating for future potential technology development
