The SiAW Test Architect is responsible and accountable to the SiAW Chief Engineer for:
Development of the approach to complete the missile system lifecycle testing including: prototyping, design verification testing, environmental qualification testing, functional qualification testing, and acceptance testing Ownership of the development and qualification hardware utilization matrix, to include units under test, software configuration, special test equipment, and software for special test equipment Development of test requirements and constraints to ensure test resources are necessary and sufficient to meet program testing requirements. Establish test strategies and use cases to ensure in development that the system is designed correctly and in production the system is produced correctly. Developing and establishing test requirements and constraints across the product lifecycle. Oversight of the transition of Special Test Equipment from DVT to Qualification to Production Oversight of the development of test plans for sustainment at the depot and for fielded assets. Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with 14+ years of experience OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 12+ years of experience. Experience developing standard operating procedures for missile processing, test plans, master test plans and test reports. Experience with the full lifecycle of a missile defense product Ability to engage in technical discussion and invest in learning technical concepts Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to be part of an integrated team tasked with defining the operational, physical, functional, and technical architecture necessary to describe the vision and desired capabilities of the SiAW missile program effort. Current U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance adjudicated within the past 5 years and the ability to upgrade to a Top-Secret Security Clearance level. Current Top-Secret Clearance adjudicated within the past 5 years Experience with missile defense systems including launch, targeting and fire control systems. Wide knowledge of testing strategies in hardware and software Hands-on experience with system/missile testing Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
