This position will specifically focus on the development and analysis of models and simulations utilizing the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) Framework. Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 12 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 10 years of related experience, or 8 years of experience with a PhD. Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start Ability and willingness to travel 10% to support business needs. Experience using Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) to inform the development of systems along the left side of the “systems engineering vee” Experience using Python, MATLAB, SQL, or related technologies to interpret complex data sets Comfortable communicating technical information to technical and non-technical customers Experience mentoring and developing junior-level engineers Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team setting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Active DoD Top Secret Clearance Master's degree in Systems Engineering Experience using the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) Experience with Ansys ModelCenter Experience with SIMDIS Ability to support development of systems engineering models utilizing SysML and Cameo Experience using agile development methodologies Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Graduate Certificate INCOSE ASEP (or above) certification Object Modeling Group (OMG) Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) Model Builder Fundamental Certification
