Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years related experience, or Master's with 3 years (experience)
- High school diploma/equivalent with 9 years experience may substitute for bachelor's (experience)
- Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Government security clearance (experience)
Responsibilities
- Serve as Windows Systems Administrator for classified contract
- Communicate across organizational levels
- Ensure smooth operation of multi-user systems
- Coordinate with network/software engineers, technicians, managers, users
- Support multiple networks and administration tasks
- Develop system improvements/upgrades/solutions
- Implement enhancements (installation, upgrades/patches, monitoring, problem resolution, configuration management)
- Administer backup/recovery, file systems, disk space, virus protection
- Create/maintain user/computer accounts, file permissions, security access
- Test new product releases for compatibility
- Develop/document technical processes/procedures
- Recommend hardware/software purchases
- Troubleshoot issues with teams/suppliers/customers/vendors
- Adhere to Information Systems security guidelines
- Maintain security audit/logging information
- Prepare security documentation
- Report project status
- Work independently to develop solutions
