Principal Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Collaboratively define and document Radar IPT hardware architecture. Support the development of component specifications and procurement requirements. Support the technical management of major subcontractors. Develop technical Statements of Works. Perform compliance analysis on key performance parameters. Work within an RF lab environment to support characterization and measurement of equipment. Work with engineering drafting to document the systems Bill of Material (BOM) and assembly drawings. Support the development of integration plans and procedures. Support assembly, integration and checkout of HW components. Support design trade studies and component obsolescence review. Occasionally present to engineering leadership Active DoD Secret clearance at the time of application 5 years with a Bachelors in Science, 3 years with a Masters in Science degree Experience with LNA's RF signal chain analysis experience Ability to work within an RF lab environment RF test equipment and measurement experience (i.e., noise figure, phase noise) Experience with component integration and checkout Experience with reading and developing engineering drawings and electronic BOM's Experience with Atlassian tool sets (JIRA, Confluence) Familiar with Model Based Systems Engineering principles Experience working within CAMEO Familiar with technical major subcontract management Ability to travel up to 10% domestically DARC architecture familiarity and system knowledge Previous experience with supporting proposals and developing technical basis of estimate Previous experience with one of the following Ability to travel up to 25% internationally and domestically
