Responsible for Supplier Quality risk management- implementing proactive supplier performance management strategy. Develops and implements supplier quality evaluation and control systems. Supports the maintenance of the approved supplier list and periodically reviews supplier performance to determine whether suppliers should remain on the approved list. Manages supplier requests for waivers, deviations and discrepancy reporting process. Coordinates and oversees Supplier Quality plan implementation through all program phases. Manages implementation of Supplier Quality processes, including supplier approval activities, source selection evaluations, supplier classification designation (Critical, Key and Standard), development and execution of risk assessments and mitigation plans, and supplier quality requirements development and flow-downs. Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of quality, manufacturing or related experience OR a Master's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of quality, manufacturing or related experience. Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required Experience with ISO 9001 / AS9100 Quality Management System certification process. Bachelor's Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering Strong background in circuit card assembly manufacturing Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action Current active security clearance Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification Supplier quality experience Demonstrated problem solving ability Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 requirements Knowledge and experience with IPC 600, IPC 610, IPC-2222, IPC-2223, IPC-CC-830, and/or IPC-7711/7721
