Bachelor's with 8 years of professional software development experience; Master's degree with 6 years of professional software development experience; or a PhD with 4 year of experience Proficiency in C/C++ programming with hands-on experience in software development. Familiarity with RTOS (VxWorks, Integrity, or Embedded Linux). Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Experience with software testing, verification, and validation processes. Familiarity with safety-critical software standards is a plus. Strong math and algorithm skills Active DoD Secret clearance Ability to work onsite full-time at Woodland Hills, CA Experience with ADA programming language Experience with JIRA Knowledge of defense and aerospace systems. Understanding of memory management. Exposure to software development for embedded systems or hardware integration. Experience in RHEL (for BH development), static and dynamic code analysis tools, visual C/C++, and python scripting (both for tool development) Design, develop, and maintain software applications in C/C++. Utilize C/C++, ADA programming for systems requiring high integrity and safety compliance. Debug, optimize, and test software to ensure performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture. Maintain and update documentation for software systems and processes. Work on a development team and perform code version control, reviews, and testing.
