Define software and hardware integration strategy and develop test roadmap/plan for advanced digital platforms supporting manufacturing and fabrication of microelectronics Support planning, design, development, and installation of manufacturing automation tools and services Collaborate with solution providers and partners to verify capabilities satisfy program requirements Design validation approaches to ensure the system fulfills its operational objectives and stakeholder requirements in its intended operational setting Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements Support system engineering activities: trade studies, analysis of alternatives, requirement decomposition/allocation, requirement verification/validation, process development, roadmap development This is a dual level req which can be filled as Principal or Sr Principal Engineer. A degree in a STEM area (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with a minimum of 5 years of experience with a bachelor's degree, 3 years of experience with a master's degree, or 0 years of experience with a PhD. Direct experience with at least one phase of the software development lifecycle Evidence of direct exposure to systems engineering concepts and skills such as requirements engineering, use case development, logical architecture modeling, interface definition, integration planning, test planning, verification & validation Synthesizes internal and external customer needs and requirements into system tests that acknowledge technical and schedule constraints Participates in the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for verifying system requirements Must be willing to work on site 100% of time. Limited travel to local Northrop Grumman facilities may be required. This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance per business requirements Principal Factory Systems Engineer:

This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance per business requirements Active US government security clearance per business requirements Experience in performing systems engineering for government information systems and/or manufacturing systems is desirable Ability to automate engineering tasks utilizing scripting and/or orchestration tools Integration experience, to ensure the transition of systems, software, and components into operational environments Experience with software development is desirable Has worked with Applied Materials SmartFactory CIM solution. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software tools, i.e. Atlassian tools stack - Jira, Confluence.
