You will fill a role within a large business organization, and will support the senior Risk, Issue, and Opportunity Manager, and work with other program managers, engineers, and other stakeholders of the risk, issue, and opportunity management efforts. Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
Manage program schedule, working with functional stakeholders to identify issues and work timely resolutions Assist in definition, planning, organizing, directing and controlling risk and opportunity management efforts. Evaluate and approves risk and opportunity handling approaches, mitigation plans and approves opportunity capture. Maintain program risk and opportunity register. Coordinates with suppliers, vendors, higher level managers, and external Customers on general risk and opportunity metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the risk and opportunity management process and procedures. Inform and advises higher level management on critical project risks and mitigations. Facilitate meetings and coordinate risks within a program. A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; OR a Master's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience Experience coordinating project tasks, including planning, scheduling and tracking progress. Experience with Microsoft office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance US Citizenship Required Principal Program Project Management Specialist:
A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience; OR a Master's degree and 6 or more years of relevant work experience Experience coordinating project tasks, including planning, scheduling and tracking progress. Experience with Microsoft office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) Experience with data visualization and organizational skills Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance US Citizenship Required Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders Experience on Aerospace and Defense hardware production programs Experience with Earned Value Management principles Active U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.
