As the Senior Staff Systems Engineer - EW Analyst for RF sensors you will work on some of the most advanced systems in the U.S. arsenal. These include radars for air dominance platforms (such as the F-22, F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, F-16), bomber and strike programs (such as B-1B), airborne / maritime / ground-based surveillance missions (E-3 AWACS, E-7 MESA, TPS-80 G/ATOR, SEWIP Block 3 and UAV systems such as Global Hawk), as well as restricted programs and missions. We offer the opportunity to join a team to solve problems in the field and drive new solutions into next generation radar systems and air superiority platforms. Lead initiatives with system test subject matter experts to ensure alignment of test objectives and plans with strategic data collection needs, verifying overall system capability. Drive the technical direction and execution of complex data analysis projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies. Provide expert guidance on advanced data analysis methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance project effectiveness and outcomes. Manage cross-functional teams to explore test data, facilitating the identification of actionable insights that promote innovation and operational excellence. Present comprehensive analysis results to senior leadership and clients, highlighting the impact of technical initiatives on system capability, stability, performance and usability. Oversee the development of proposals and program plans, ensuring that key enterprise analysis activities are effectively integrated into project budgets and timelines. Direct the design and development of advanced data analysis tools that transform raw data into strategic insights, enhancing system design and expediting analysis processes. Champion engineering rigor within the MEIW OU by establishing and enforcing enterprise analysis data processes, standards and best practices. Plan, schedule and manage Integration and Test (I&T) activities to ensure efficient data collection aligned with project objectives. Strategically guide program and technical leadership to anticipate and address immediate and long-term analysis needs, driving the implementation of solutions that align with budget and scheduling constraints. Foster the growth of future technical leaders through tailored mentorship programs and collaborative learning opportunities. Primary Level Salary Range: $184,100.00 - $276,100.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. A current / active DoD Secret Clearance. 7 years of experience in modeling, integrating, and testing Electronic Warfare (EW) systems across the entire EW kill chain, from detection to engagement. 4 years of experience developing and utilizing tools for Radio Frequency (RF) data analysis at the I/Q level. 4 years of experience with Digital Signal Processing and algorithm development. 4 years of demonstrated proficiency in the MATLAB programming environment. 4 years of experience with troubleshooting and conducting root cause and trade analyses of common RF issues, including interference mitigation, clutter analysis, loop gain, scheduling, and resource management. 4 years of experience with project planning including Basis of Estimate development, proposal generation, and resource estimation and allocation 2 years of experience leading small teams to complete complex technical tasks on time. Advanced degrees in Science, Technology, Engineer, or Mathematics or other related technical fields. A current / active DoD Top Secret Clearance or higher. Experience in writing, coordinating, executing, and leading tests that assess the performance of complex RF systems. Experience in System Baselining Experience with operating and writing scripts to control test bench equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and programmable network analyzers, with over 3 years of practical application. Python and/or C++ programming experience. Experience with mission - level Radar and Electronic Warfare analysis
