Job Description

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Coordinate program management and technical meetings with SDS personnel and subcontract POCs. Responsible for SDS resource management and coordination supporting the subcontract (I.e. SDS Business Mgmt., SDS security, Sys. Engineering, Test, Specialties Coordination etc.). Maintain/Flow down of Prime Statement of Work (SOW) and Spec Requirements as required ensuring program compliance. SDRL review and approval, action tracking closure and coordination with SDS stakeholders. Responsible for conveying active issue resolution and management up through AVE and Customer Channels. Coordination and integration of TRB/CCB packages from suppliers up through AVE and program boards. Facilitate, weekly subcontractor technical and program management meetings. Coordinate across cross-functional teams to manage and track subcontract requirements across the life of the Sentinel Engineering Manufacturing and Design (EMD) phase of the Sentinel Program. Responsible for the execution of several subcontracts for the OBTE IPT at SDS currently being performed across the US. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with 0 years of experience; 4 years additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Project Manager:

Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience; Master's Degree with 0 years' experience; 4 years additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance. Must have experience with Microsoft Office applications. Proven demonstrated leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Minimum of 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against cost and schedule. Ability and willingness to travel 10% of the time. Bachelor's or master's degree in Project Management or Business Management from an accredited institution. PMP Certification.
