As the Launch Equipment Systems Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of approximately 12 systems engineers across multiple domains and disciplines. The successful candidate should be detailed oriented and be able to work collaboratively with multiple remote teams and disciplines. Lead the Systems Engineering Capabilities activities for the Command & Launch Infrastructure Launch Equipment team Coordinate vertically and horizontally with multiple engineering teams and organizations. Excellent communication, mentoring, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior management, peers, and employees. Provide ownership for the people, processes, and tools that support business areas and programs in achieving their missions. Supporting FHR efforts in areas of process improvement, training and staffing. Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 8 years of experience Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application Active DoD Top Secret with SAP clearance Experience managing programs or subcontracts in an Earned Value framework - Control Account Manager certified Strong understanding and broad application of engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.) Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities Demonstrated experience in making sound decisions in uncertain and difficult situations Primary Level Salary Range: $139,100.00 - $230,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
