Develop processes by studying requirements; research, design, modify, and test production/deployment methods and equipment Collaborates with Design Engineering on design to ensure practical manufacturing and fabrication solutions Work with suppliers to develop manufacturing planning for successful preparation and execution of MRAs Research and evaluate commercially available tools and equipment to support deployment activities Investigates root cause of discrepancies and implements corrective actions Troubleshoots existing processes to improve safety, quality, cost, and efficiency Establish and maintain a program project plan and schedule that is aligned with the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Provides advanced technological ideas and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to resolve technical questions and ensure compliance to the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) Statement of Work (SOW) requirements Implement Lean practices to continually identify opportunities for improvement Life Insurance Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions Paid Time Off Health & Wellness Resources Employee Discounts This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience, or 0 years with a Masters; 4 years additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher awarded or reviewed in the last 6 years at time of application, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need Experience with Design Reviews, Process Control Documentation, Work Instructions, and Bills of Materials Experience using Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS-Project) Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, etc. Previous experience in production for a military program An understanding of Manufacturing Readiness Assessment's and establishing Manufacturing Readiness Levels per DoD customer requirements Prior experience developing and designing tooling for field work and installations An understanding of tooling, work instructions, and visual aid Primary Level Salary Range: $70,200.00 - $105,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
