Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis for human engineering compliance documents to include Mil-Std-1472 and other applicable industry standards Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts Be proficient in the development of key system engineering artifacts such as requirement specifications and interface definition documents Ensure appropriate coordination between SEIT Human Systems Integration and other design and integration teams Participate in technical planning, verification and validation development, cost and risk considerations, and requirements analyses for integrated systems Senior Principal Engineer:
A Bachelor's Degree in STEM fields such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline (e.g., human factors or psychology) from an accredited university is preferred, along with 8 years of experience; or a Master's degree (preferred) in a STEM-related field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD in a related field with 4 years of relevant work experience. Principal Engineer:
A Bachelor's Degree in STEM fields such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline (e.g., human factors or psychology) from an accredited university is preferred, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master's degree (preferred) in a STEM-related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD in a related field with 1 year of relevant work experience. Experience in fast-paced work environment and ability to work in a team environment Experience using Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project and Engineering Scheduling tools or applications. Experience with Compliance requirements and Mil-Std-1472 3 years' experience in ICBM (MMIII or Sentinel) OR complex aerospace/defense systems 2 years' experience in team environments with leadership responsibilities 1 year of experience with interface products (IRS, IDD, ICD) and requirement specifications Large scale / complex system development experience across multiple phases of a development program: preliminary design, detailed design, integration and test, verification and sell off, transition to production. Experience with implementing and using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools, practices, and methods. Strong understanding and broad application of complex engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.) for the development of complex systems of systems. Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities.
