The selected supplier scheduler will be responsible for multiple tasks within the management and integration of IPMDAR supplier schedules into the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). The scheduler will be responsible for performing tasks that include schedule assessment, compliance tracking, integration planning, and execution. In this role, you will evaluate and review suppliers' submitted schedules to ensure they meet project requirements and timelines. Monitoring supplier adherence to contractual milestones and deliverables is also crucial, ensuring compliance with program objectives and deadlines. Developing and maintaining a plan for integrating supplier schedules with the broader program IMS, you will identify dependencies and mitigate potential scheduling conflicts. Coordination with suppliers and internal teams will be essential for executing the schedule integration, continuously monitoring progress, and adjusting plans as necessary to stay on track. Additionally, you will serve as the primary liaison between suppliers and the program management team, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding schedule status, risks, and updates. By focusing on these responsibilities, the supplier scheduler will help ensure that all aspects of supplier scheduling are effectively integrated into the overall program timeline, contributing to the seamless execution of project goals. Coordinate with business management and project management staff to develop an integrated program measurement baseline to manage cost, schedule, and technical performance of the program. Perform Schedule risk analyses and work with the program manager to resolve risky schedules, critical path issues, and network logic conflicts. Perform thorough project analysis through metrics reviews and predictive analysis to enhance cost, schedule, and technical performance. Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. Incorporating contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines. Participating in month-end Earned Value reporting close activities. This position may be filled at a Principal or Sr. Principal level Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience; a master's degree with 3 years; or 9 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree (Sr. Principal level requires a bachelor's degree and 8 years; a master's and 6 years; or 12 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree) Requires experience with any scheduling software including:
MS Project, P6 Primavera, Deltek Open Plan, Deltek Cobra/MPM, Deltek Acumen, or other Schedule Risk Assessment software tools Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel Aerospace/Defense Industry Experience Excel Macro/VBA Skills Strong analytical ability
