8 years of experience with a Bachelors of Science degree, 6 years with a Masters, 5 years with a Doctorate degree in science, engineering, applied mathematics, computer science, aeronautics, safety, or closely related technical discipline Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need At least 6 years of using MIL-STD-882E to conduct Preliminary, Functional, Subsystem, System, Operating and Support Hazard Analysis At least 2 years experience with Safety Assessment Reports At least 2 years of using DO-178 or DO-254 for design development At least 1 year experience using MIL-STD-882E or similar processes for hardware and /or software design development Lead a team in software safety processes in Engineering and Manufacturing Development Phase Experience developing in an Agile environment.
