A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university is preferred, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master's degree (preferred) in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start Candidates with an active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) are strongly preferred at the time of application. If such a certification is not held, it must be obtained within 40 days of the start date. The selected candidate will be responsible for securing and maintaining their DoD 8140 certification. Candidates who fail to obtain the prescribed certification within 40 days will be evaluated for removal Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% to support business needs Having an active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) at the time of application is highly preferred Linux system administration and security implementations Git Nexus Jenkins Jira Confluence Proficiency with CI/CD, especially within a classified development environment Familiarity with DEVSECOPS practices Skills in Linux shell scripting, Ansible playbook creation and management, Security-Enhanced (SE) Linux, and Red Hat repository administration Experience working in an Agile development setting Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) Multi-Factor Authentication (e.g., IPA and ADFS) OpenShift OpenStack VMware ESXi QAS/VAS Windows Active Directory, backup and recovery, and container orchestration products Understanding of PaaS and SaaS concepts Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, and their application to IT and IT products
