Job Description
Principal Software Engineer (T03): 5 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree; 3 years with Master's degree; 1 year with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree Senior Principal Software Engineer (T04): 8 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree; 6 years with Master's degree; 4 years with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree Active Top Secret/SCI clearance at the time of application, and ability to successfully pass a polygraph Experience with Java, C++ and Python (or similar scripting language) in a cloud environment Experience with Agile development methodologies Automated testing experience Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies STEM degree Adjudicated CI or FS polygraph Proficient with Python, Perl, Rust, Docker/Kubernetes, Cloud, DevOps, CI/CD Proficient with Atlassian tools (i.e., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) Familiar with Kubernetes cluster software deployment Experience with automated test tools (i.e., Cucumber, Behave, Eggplant, Selenium, Cypress) Experience developing software for complex near real-time ground systems in mission domain
