Ownership of the SiAW technical roadmap for future capability expansion and system upgrades Bachelor's degree with 14 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 12 years of relevant experience. 8+ years of hands‑on systems engineering experience on missile, rocket, or other high‑performance defense projects defining, verifying, and validating system requirements 4+ years in a lead or architectural role, responsible for defining system architecture and driving integration with system interface definition, verification and validation Experience developing and managing to Systems Engineering Management Plans across all phases of the Systems Engineering 'V' Proficiency with Model-Based System Engineering and MBSE Tools Active Government DoD Secret security clearance, adjudicated within the past 5 years, and ability to be cleared for SAP (Special Access Programs). Experience with modeling & simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, STK, ANSYS/CFD). Experience with emerging missile technologies (e.g., hypersonic propulsion, multi‑mode seekers, network‑centric fire‑control). Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a high‑tempo, mission‑critical environment. Proficiency with system‑architecture frameworks such as DoDAF and modeling languages like SysML. Knowledge of missile subsystems: propulsion (solid, liquid, hybrid), guidance & control algorithms, avionics, warhead integration, and launch‑platform interfaces. Strong grasp of trade‑study methodology (cost‑benefit, performance vs. weight, reliability).
