Lead Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) of advanced systems using model-based workflows and test-driven development to support simulation-based operational analysis activities Accelerate delivery of capabilities to our customers through the development and use of advanced models and simulations of platforms, sensors, weapons, and their complex interactions within future mission environments Integration of MS&A with operational flight software, collecting and analyzing data from laboratory or flight tests, the verification and validation of simulation performance against flight test data, and formally verifying that the models meet specified requirements Produce reports which define the foundation for simulation credibility across all stakeholders and provide the artifacts to support formal simulation Verification, Validation and Accreditation (VVA) Independently develop software, design documentation and model and simulation V&V artifacts Develop large scale data analytics, probabilities, and statistics, including the application of design of experiment techniques for the evaluation of system and mission performance Innovate to solve problems and identify improvements across MSE&A products Performs operational analysis and mission effectiveness analysis activities Develops new and/or integrates existing system simulation frameworks, performance models and algorithms, threat models and command and control models Model operational environments, performs trade studies via computer simulation and recommends alternative architectures Develops, integrates, and uses advanced graphical user interfaces and visualization tools At Northrop Grumman, we are committed to maintaining the highest of ethical standards, embracing diversity and inclusion, protecting the environment, and striving to be an ideal corporate citizen in the community and in the world. Primary Level Salary Range: $163,200.00 - $244,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. Experience in modeling, simulation, experimentation, and analysis for operations, including the use of analytical modeling tools like MATLAB, STK, or similar environments. Experience with combat simulation environments such as AFSIM and/or Brawler, ensuring realistic and effective simulation outcomes. Experience with programming languages like Python, C/C++, as well as scripting in Linux/Windows environments, and experienced in statistics, design of experiments, and high-performance computing. Experience with DoD testing and acquisition principles, with hands-on experience in developmental testing, planning, and execution of weapon tests. Advanced degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or related technical fields. Active Top Secret Clearance or higher. Experience with JMP, R, or other domain specific environments supporting data exploration, visualization, and statistical analysis. Domain experience in simulations of RF, EOIR, Communications, or related systems. Understanding of the Systems Engineering and Integration & Test processes. Experience with Agile and/or SAFe methodologies.
