Ph.D. in theoretical physics, applied mathematics, or STEM related engineering field and 8 plus years of relevant technical professional experience. Strong background in superconducting circuits and systems. Significant experience with computational methods for modeling and simulation. Experience with physics-based modeling and simulation. Experience writing version-controlled code in Python. Proven skill at tackling/solving complex problems. Ability to learn new topics quickly in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to work and lead in a collaborative, diverse environment. This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. Citizen. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance per customer's requirements. PhD in theoretical physics, applied mathematics, or a relevant STEM engineering field. Expertise in model/simulation loop closure based on process control monitoring and functional test data. Experience with noise-modeling and/or decoherence mechanisms. Active U.S. Government security clearance
