Staff Systems Engineer

Job Description

Plan and support the core functions and ensure the project team has qualified staff to execute the program core functions. Support close out program reviews (e.g., SRR, SFR, SDR, PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR, peer reviews, Pre-test reviews, Post Test Reviews, Pre-Ship reviews, Etc. Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements. Manage the vertical and horizontal technical integration throughout the product teams and program life cycle. Oversee configuration management of the overall Program Baseline Serve as the Logistics and Supportability Interface ensuring that all applicable specialty engineering disciplines horizontally integrate across applicable phases of the program lifecycle. Collect, manage, and report the program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs). Manage risk and opportunity and the production of core engineering work products and track the work products and associated program dependencies in the program schedule. Oversee the establishment and execution of the program lifecycle and work products. Support the transition of the project to the operations, maintenance, and sustainment stakeholders. Coordinate between the System Architect, Chief Engineer, Product Team Lead(s), program manager, and customer to ensure the integrity and executability of the program technical baseline. Align measurement objectives and activities to meet program performance goals and objectives. Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 14 years of experience, a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 9 years of experience. Demonstrated Model Based Systems Engineering Experience (SysML). Demonstrated Experience working with CAMEO. Demonstrated Requirements Management from Elicitation to Verification. Demonstrated Backlog Planning and Management. Experience in systems development, integration, and test. This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen Clearance:

Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary US Government security clearance per customer's requirements Current Active DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph. STEM degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or similar. Professional certifications, such as INCOSE CSEP/ESEP. Demonstrated experience managing System Requirements and management tools, such as CAMEO. Knowledge of ASIC design, Signal Processing, and/or IC Device Fabrication. Experience with Systems Development Lifecycle, Focus on CDR through Testing. Experience with overseeing Integration and Test, specifically with Requirement Verification and Validation.
