Job Description

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather and analyze functional and non-functional requirements specific to AWG, Oscilloscope, RF Synthesizer, and Network Analyzer applications. Collaborate with domain experts to ensure that the hardware meets the technical requirements for signal generation, analysis, and measurement. Ensure that the hardware architecture supports responsive and real-time user interactions. Identify and address performance bottlenecks in hardware systems, ensuring that the instruments operate with minimal latency and high throughput. Act as a technical liaison between software development teams, hardware engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Systems Engineer will assist in driving program goals and strategies by building a system that aligns to the organization. Collaborate with project managers to estimate project timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables related to hardware development for electronic instruments. Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience, a master's degree in a STEM discipline with 10 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 7 years of experience. Demonstrated an ability to design and implement advanced signal processing algorithms required for AWG, Oscilloscope, RF Synthesizer, Network Analyzer functionalities, etc. Experience in collaborating with software, data science, and DevOps teams to ensure comprehensive testing of hardware solutions, including unit tests, integration tests, and full system tests. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to hardware engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in hardware development. Develops thorough definition of system external interfaces. Experience in systems development, integration, and test. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations relevant to electronic instruments, such as safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen Active US Government security clearance per customers requirements Experience in provide presentations of results and progress to customers and senior management. Lead architectural reviews and design discussions to ensure adherence to best practices and architectural standards. Experience with programming languages such as:

Python & MATLAB Guiding scrum teams on Agile and Scrum practices, identifying and resolving issues that hinder the team's progress, including proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence and other Agile project management software is crucial for tracking progress, managing backlogs. Experience with overseeing Software Integration and Test. i.e. Software Unit tests, Software Integration Tests, and Software User Acceptance Tests. Strong written and verbal communication with sound leadership skills, including negotiation and decision-making.
