Experienced E3 engineers at Northrop Grumman must help maintain and build on Aerospace System's reputation for E3 expertise and quality by training and mentoring less experience E3 engineers. Systems Engineer:
Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 2 years of experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline. Principal Systems Engineer:
Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 5 years of experience, OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of experience, OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 1 year of experience. Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a specialty in Electromagnetics, RF, or analog circuitry. Experience with defense and aerospace industry practices, and programmatic skills supporting BOE, RFP, ROM, CAM, WBS, Risk assessments for E3 compliance is a plus for candidates. Ideal candidates can show extensive design experience with EMI filters, circuit layout and analysis for E3, shielding, lightning protection, cable and harnessing design. Candidates with working knowledge and experience in modeling and simulation of E3 using commercially available software is a plus. Experience with design for TEMPEST and EMI/EMC compliance and system level integration (bonding, grounding, shielding, filtering, transient suppression). Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
