Successful candidate will work independently after training to perform a wide range of quality inspection tasks. Operate coordinate measurement equipment including Laser tracker, stationary CMM and portable Arm. Perform Quality Process Assessments. Perform visual, in-process and final dimensional inspections on tightly tolerance piece parts, subassemblies, and final assembly. Perform tool inspections on various programs and assembles/disassembles tooling according to best shop practices. Performs required inspections in accordance with procedures and planning documentation. Other duties as assigned Working at Northrop Grumman is more than just a paycheck. High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience. Must have good computer skills - MS Office able to learn Costpoint, QMIS, ePic High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance Must have a basic understanding with standard Mechanical Inspection techniques and tools. Experience with ISO 9000/AS9100 Quality Management Systems. Excellent shop math skills and advanced trigonometry. Experience with Continuous Improvement/PES techniques. Must have good computer skills - MS Office able to learn Costpoint, QMIS, ePic CMM programming capabilities preferred.
