Work with internal Customers to concept needed support equipment for new and existing programs Developing tooling concepts, creating/reviewing and improving manufacturing processes to meet Customer requirements Work closely with Tool Designers to create final drawings. Perform stress analysis to assure mechanical soundness per NG requirements Understand/monitor cost and schedule Review engineering drawings and designs for manufacturability Interface with the review team to assure customer satisfaction with the design Manages projects and coordinates all procurements and fabrication to meet the program cost and schedule requirements Inspect fabricated support hardware to ensure compliance to the design Work alongside the manufacturing team to ensure overall program quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved Support vendors as needed during fabrication Inspect tool configuration for drawing compliance, including fit, form, and function Support continuous improvement Support Operations and Process Engineering in the use of all tooling As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:

Experience with closed form and FE analysis practices; Prefer NX and ANSYS software systems. Level 3 Bachelor of Science in (STEM) Mechanical Engineering Minimum 5years of technical experience in engineering, design, and fabrication of special tooling and related equipment; 3 years of experience with a Master's Degree, 1 PHD. Demonstrated ability to evaluate vendor and equipment capability and ability to perform required tasks to include production of tooling as well as unique aerospace part production. Experience with closed form and FE analysis practices; Prefer NX and ANSYS software systems. Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
