Ability to acquire a Secret Clearance, US Citizenship as a pre-requisite Must have good communication, problem solving skills and demonstrated performance in a team environment Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or related degree Familiar with machine shop fabrication practices and material selection Working knowledge of basic stress calculations for support structures Experience working within a product team structure, managing events and timelines Composites and rubber molding background is a plus Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (ASME Y14.5M) Proficient with using Excel, Power Point, Word, CAD and Modeling required Familiarity with Siemens NX and TcUA Prior manufacturing experience is a plus Active Secret Clearance Coordinates and develops tooling requirements with project engineering, process engineering, manufacturing, quality, etc. Responsible for coordinating tooling fabrication with machine shop and/or vendors, which includes establishment of scope and monitoring projects against planned scope Responsible for tool use, check out, and follow up in production Prepare estimates of tooling design and fabrication costs for proposals Working knowledge of basic stress calculations for support structures Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (ASME Y14.5M)
