Perform a variety of skilled tasks associated with the monitoring and consumable material replacement for point of use gas systems, bulk liquid chemical delivery units (CDUs), waste collection stations, lift stations, and facility scrubbers. Tasks are varied and often require considerable skill and initiative on the part of the employee to complete assigned tasks. These tasks are typified by, but not limited to the following areas:
Perform routine inspections and maintain consumables for all hazardous and inert point of use gas systems (i.e. gas cabinets, tonner systems, gas bottle racks, etc.). Perform routine inspections and maintain consumables for all liquid chemical delivery systems (i.e. bulk acid CDU, bulk solvent CDU, etc.). Perform changeouts of liquid chemical consumables associated with the CDUs as necessary. Coordinate with foundry material coordinators (shipping and receiving dock personnel) for movement of material to local delivery to the CDU. Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting with assistance of Line Maintenance and Plant Maintenance of the lift stations, scrubbers, and solvent waste stations. Ensure all corporate and site-specific safety and chemical handling protocols are always followed. Ability to obtain, deliver, and move material from one location to another, utilizing appropriate material handling equipment such as bottle carts, pallet jack, fork trucks, etc. as required. High school graduate or equivalent and Journey Person in related Trade School or Military Experience or AAS degree in STEM Has familiarity and understanding of Hazardous/Toxic gas safe Handling:
Include but not limited to Gas bottle Monitoring, Change, Storage, Carrying, dispose using proper PPE and knowledge of chemical safety data sheets. Knowledge and ability to perform regular maintenance of Chemical Pumps and control with the assistance of Line and Plant Maintenance.
