Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Your daily impact will include:

  • Processing telephone orders using Order Receipt and Entry systems, ensuring compliance with Board of Pharmacy laws and customer specifications.
  • Preparing and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals per prescriptions, company standards, and federal/state regulations; overseeing technicians where permitted.
  • Conducting quality control tests, assaying medications for identity, purity, and strength, and performing white blood cell labeling.
  • Managing inventory through check-ins, packaging, stock room maintenance, and 5S methodology.
  • Shadowing customers, collecting impact data, reviewing scorecards, and completing White Belt Training in Operational Excellence.
  • Training new hires, acting as Pharmacist in Charge, and delivering doses as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Licensing

A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD is required, along with a valid Arkansas Pharmacist license (or in process). Completion of at least 200 hours of nuclear pharmacy training from an accredited program is essential.
