Role Overview

As a Nuclear Pharmacy Technician at Cardinal Health's Glendale Heights, IL facility, you'll play a vital role in preparing and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals for medical providers. This full-time overnight position offers 40 hours weekly, Monday-Friday 12:30am-9:00am, with every 8th Saturday 2:00am-10:00am. Earn $23.00 per hour plus a $1,500 new hire sign-on bonus.   • Conduct quality assurance tests on instruments and radiopharmaceuticals per Federal, State, Company, and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Receive, document, and store incoming/outgoing pharmaceuticals following Department of Transportation and internal procedures.
  • Maintain accurate computer inventory and records for Rx drugs and materials.
  • Assist in labeling blood cell products and perform general lab/facility clean-up.
  • Handle clerical duties like record-keeping, receipt preparation, and billing maintenance.
  • Make deliveries to local accounts using company vehicles as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing physician and technologist inquiries via phone.

All work is closely supervised and reviewed for accuracy, with deviations requiring supervisor approval.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Registration with the Illinois State Board of Pharmacy; Pharmacy Technician licensure preferred (certification may be required).
