Role Overview

The Nuclear Pharmacy Technician position at Cardinal Health in Spokane, WA offers a stable, full-time opportunity with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 6:30am to 3:00pm, including a holiday rotation twice per year.   • Conducting quality assurance tests on instruments and radiopharmaceuticals per Federal, State, Company, and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Receiving, documenting, and storing incoming/outgoing pharmaceuticals in compliance with Department of Transportation and internal standards.
  • Maintaining accurate computer inventory and records to optimize material use and track controlled substances.
  • Assisting with blood cell product labeling, general lab clean-up, and clerical tasks like record-keeping and billing.
  • Making safe deliveries to client accounts using company vehicles.

Success Expectations

Demonstrate basic radiopharmaceutical compounding knowledge, follow radiation safety principles from our corporate manual, adhere to dispensing guidelines under supervision, manage delivery routes efficiently, and support non-dispensing activities like operating survey meters and dose calibrators.
