If you are forward-thinking, hardworking, driven and if collaborating with extraordinary people across countries sounds interesting, this job is for you.NVIDIA is looking for a Director, Tax - Mergers & Acquisitions Integration, based in our Santa Clara office and reporting to our Senior Tax Director, Mergers, Acquisitions and Investments. You will represent the tax team as part of a cross-functional group that focuses on the integration of mergers and acquisitions, leading all tax aspects, including due diligence, tax compliance management, structuring, integration execution and technical aspects of purchase accounting. You will need to pay high attention to detail and drive projects to completion in a dynamic, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.What you’ll be doing:Work with cross functional teams (business, legal, corporate development, HR & finance) on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and investments. Additionally, you will work with external advisors providing guidance on all tax aspects, including due diligence, planning and execution, legal entity structuring and technical aspects of related tax compliance and purchase accounting.Coordinate & collaborate within Tax team for implementation of acquisitions into existing compliance, transfer pricing and financial reporting processes.Review and support of purchase accounting, which may include technical memos.Post-acquisition global legal entity rationalization.What we need to see:Bachelor’s degree in accounting (MA in Taxation or CPA preferred), juris doctorate or relevant major.12+ years of experience in a Big 4 accounting firm and/or tax department of a large multinational corporation with US and international M&A specialization.4+ years of leadership experience.Project management, organizational and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate and build trust with internal and external partners.A track record of complex problem-solving.Ability to balance the need to work independently, as well as under direction.Ability to adjust quickly to changing deal dynamics and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Excel.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Outgoing, optimistic, self-driven, positive and dedicated.Curiosity and willingness to tackle matters outside of area of expertise.Team-first mentality.NVIDIA is widely considered one of the technology world’s most desirable employers!
